Interior Design
Interior Design addresses all needs of the individual by enhancing the environments in which they live and work. The course offers opportunities to develop skills in designing floor plans and living environments by using computer aided drafting and specifically the Envisioneer software. Students will develop communication skills by justifying their original designs during presentations.
Central High School Family, Career and Community Leaders of America – FCCLA
The students participate in projects and activities dealing with a variety of youth concerns, including relationships, substance abuse, peer pressure, and self esteem. Community service based projects are encouraged and profits from fund raisers are used to benefit a community organization. Competition events are available to those members who are interested. Central High School has a long standing tradition of advancing to the National Competition held in various cities across the United States. FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life. These skills include planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making and communication. A student must be taking or have taken a Family & Consumer Sciences course. They can be active members even if they are not currently enrolled in a course. |
