Culinary Arts Practicum is the second year program.
Students actually spend most of their class time interning under chefs
in San Angelo. They experience real
world culinary situations by working with different types of culinary and
pastry chefs.
This program helps students with passion to decide if this is the industry they want to continue in at one of the nation’s top culinary schools. SAISD Culinary students have received over $500,000 in culinary scholarships over the last 15 years.
Careers - $25,000 to the sky is the limit Executive Chefs, Sous chefs, Pastry Chefs, Dieticians, Wedding or Event Planners, Caterers, Food and Beverage Managers or Restaurant Managers, Professor Chefs Top Schools in the nation are: CIA (Culinary Institute of America), Johnson and Wales University, the Art Institutes, and many others |

Club: SkillsUSA- $20.00 dues, leadership and contest opportunities (Regional, State & National)
